About the role
As a Sports Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in the Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association, overseeing the delivery of a range of innovative sports programmes and initiatives. You will work closely with the association’s leadership team to develop and implement engaging activities that support the development of sports and events in Hong Kong.
What you’ll be doing
1. Designing, planning, and coordinating a diverse portfolio of sports programmes and events that cater to the needs of participants
2. Managing the logistics and execution of sports activities, including liaising with venues, suppliers, and other stakeholders
3. Monitoring programme budgets and ensuring efficient resource utilisation
4. Collecting and analysing participant feedback to continuously improve the quality of programmes
5. Collaborating with the marketing officer to promote the association’s sports offerings and raise awareness among the target audience
6. Providing administrative support and contributing to the overall operations of the association
7. Performing any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor
What we’re looking for
1. Post-secondary qualifications with Sports/ Physical Education/ Recreation as one of the subjects studied
2. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in related fields
3. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
5. Proven track record of delivering high-quality sports programmes that engage and inspire participants
6. Thorough understanding of the sports industry and the unique needs of elite athletes
7. Proficient in website, design and video editing skills would be an advantage
8. Willing to work irregular hours, weekends and public holidays
9. Final position and salary offer will be subject to qualifications & relevant experiences
